The challenge
Olivestone is an artisan bakery and deli in Amman, part of the Oasis Hospitality Group. Everything about the in-store experience was considered: the bread, the counter, the way regulars were greeted. None of it reached a phone. Customers could not order ahead, loyal ones were not recognised, and changing the menu meant asking a developer.
The brief was to bring the warmth of the shop to mobile, make ordering effortless, reward loyal customers, and give the team complete control over menu and orders, all connected through a single platform.
What we did
- Customer-first mobile ordering. A clean, appetising interface that puts fresh products front and centre for quick browsing, with a cart and checkout designed to turn a craving into an order in a few taps.
- An in-store loyalty tablet. Customers enter their number at the counter to earn and track points automatically, on a simple points-based rewards system that encourages repeat visits.
- A vendor dashboard for operations. Incoming orders arrive and are managed in real time, and the team adds, edits and removes products instantly with no developer involved.
- Centralised customer data, so the bakery understands its audience and buying habits.
- One connected ecosystem: the app, the in-store tablet and the vendor dashboard on a single backend, built so new products, promotions and locations roll out with ease. HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the dashboard and tablet, Flutter for the app.
The result
Olivestone's regulars now order ahead from their phone and earn points whether they order in the app or at the counter. The team runs the menu and the order queue from one dashboard, and the group has the customer picture it did not have before.
The three surfaces share one backend, so a product added in the dashboard is on the app and the tablet the same minute.
