The challenge
Most restaurants want the same things from an ordering app: a menu people can read, the ability to say "extra cheese, no pickles", a choice between eating in and picking up, and a payment that just works. Building that from scratch for every kitchen is how projects stall. The brief was one application that streamlines the dining experience for customers and restaurant staff alike, and can be adapted to any restaurant.
What we did
- Browsing and ordering built around the food. Menus by category, large product photography, and a product page with size options and what is in it.
- Custom order modifiers. Add-ons with their own prices, so a customer builds the order they actually want and the kitchen gets it exactly.
- Eat-in or pick-up from the cart, with the total in view.
- Secure payment processing and real-time order tracking, so customers know where their order is and staff know what is coming.
- Flutter and Firebase, for cross-platform compatibility and live order updates on both iOS and Android.
The result
A ready foundation that a restaurant can make its own: brand it, load the menu, and take orders on both platforms with the kitchen seeing every modifier. The hard parts, payment and order state, are solved once.
